WITH ROLLER DANCE

Music imagined while cycling through the streets of Paris, recorded on a voice recorder, in rhythm with the city and its trajectories.

Inspired by the energy of roller rinks and freestyle cultures, the project invents a new hybrid stage format bringing together a contemporary jazz quartet and roller dance. Music, bodies, and improvisation engage in dialogue within a shared space.

VIRGINIE DAÏDÉ MEET HUGO LIPPI

Virginie Daïdé  (ts)• Hugo Lippi (g)
Thomas Posner (db) • Guilhem Flouzat (dr)

It is the meeting of two voices in jazz: Virginie Daïdé, a saxophonist with a warm tone and poetic sensitivity, and Hugo Lippi, a guitarist whose playing is both elegant and profound.
Around them, the rhythm section—Thomas Posner on double bass and Guilhem Flouzat on drums—provides a setting that is both supple and inventive.
